Frederick Harold's Story
Frederick Harold Squire enlisted with his brother, Wallace
Saw service in the fields of Flanders in France under constant heavy bombardment. Despite his involvement in the terrible battle of Passchendael in 1917 he reached the end of the years on conflict without being wounded, gassed or shell-shocked. He married Mable (Waine) in 1925 and retired to Horringer, Suffolk. Fred and Mable were without children.
