James's Story

I have no memories as I am the granddaughter of the above. But this year 2008 I had the honour and privilege to visit my grandfather's grave. He died on the 18th november 1918 and is buried alongside the last soldier to be killed on the 11th November 1918, a George Ellison both buried in St Symphorien Cemetary Mons. Micheal Palin walked past my Granfather's grave on his programme Timewatch. Our family would appreciate any information on the cause of James Heyes' death.

Rest in peace Grandad, without you I would not be who I am today,
