Albert's Story
My great uncle Albert Allen died on 9th August 1916 and is first on the war memorial in Corsham where I was brought up. He was killed near Hill 60 and is burried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery near Poperinge in Northern France. I visited his grave in 2006.
