Thomas Sylvester's Story

This is my great uncles Sylvester Thomas Cook commonly known as Tom. He married in 1914 to Agnes and had two children. Tom was killed near Arras north France on Easter Monday, 9th April 1917. I visited his grave in Sept 2008. A very small cemetary only 88 were burried there, half of which were from the Wiltshire Regiment.

I have been tracing my family history but we have lost trace of Agnes and their children. What a shame.
