Owen's Story

Owen was killed at Arras on 9 April 1917. He is buried in Achicourt Road Cemetery. His family learned of his death the day after his nephew, my Uncle Ken, was born.

His second cousin was John Travers Cornwell, awarded the VC following the Battle of Jutland.
