John Heatley died near Boesinghe on 31 July 1917. He was the only son of John and Isabella Heatley and brother of my grandmother Agnes Jane Curry (nee Heatley). John served with the 2nd Bn Coldstream Guards. He is remembered at the Menin Gate Ypres Memorial.
