Thomas Patrick's Story

Brave Medic

Thomas Patrick Brown joined the Medical Corps at age 17, as a stretcher bearer. Taken prisoner of war, he was kept mostly in the open, giving him scurvy which affected his legs for the rest of his life. For his bravery he received a commendation letter from King George.
