Albert Edward's Story

The older brother of a Grandfather I never met

Our family was broken apart by divorce in the 1940's meaning that I never met my Grandfather. Following some research I located and met my Grandfather's older sister on her 100th birthday and learnt more about my Grandfather's family. One older brother was Albert Edward Chell who joined the First World War at the age of 16 after obviously lying about his age. God bless all of them who fought and suffered to save our country.
