Alfred Ramsden's Story

My Grandfather was wounded during WWI he suffered shot gun wounds and gassing. He survived the war.

Following WWI my Grandfather became a railway signal box man. He was always in discomfort with his chest, a legacy from the gassing. He was a wonderful man and suffered many heart attacks before he died in 1970.
