Cecil is seen in this picture with his wife Kathleen. He was a member of the Old Contemptibles and a member of the Grantham British Legion for many years until his death. He also was an avid Poppy seller his pitch being outside the Granada cinema (long since gone) on High street, and he carried the Union Jack at every Armistice parade. He is sadly missed and fondly remembered.
