Daniel Patrick's Story

Daniel was one of 4 brothers, all of whom fought in WW1. Daniel was a sergeant major in the Highland Light Infantry and received the military medal and bar. He was killed in action on 30/09/1918. His brother Albert was killed when HMS Monmouth was sunk in the South Atlantic in 1914. John, my grandfather was with the Post Office Rifles and was captured at Vimmy Ridge. Collie fought with the Connaught Rangers.
