Joseph's Story
In Memory of Driver Joseph Hadfield (96655) Soldier in France in 1914 and at Gallipoli in 1915 with the 29th Division. Killed on the 23rd October 1915 whilst on the H.M. Transport S.S. Marquette of the coast of Salonica. Torpedoed by U-35. He left a widow and three children. He was a furnaceman in Sheffield
