Victor Edwin's Story
Victor was my great uncle, and brother of Oscar Arthur and Nelson Baden Waller. He Joined the Herts Regiment on 6th November 1914 as Private no. 2547 and later the Bedfordshire & Herts Regiment (Territorial Forces) as Private No.265508.
He survived the war but I have no details of his service record.
I believe he may have been wounded in France in 1918, as a letter written from France by his brother Oscar on 18th November 1918 says - 'Well I'm very pleased to tell you that I found Vic on the right road and out of the danger wards. It is possible that he may be in England by now ----'
Victor died in 1958 aged 63
