Edward's Story
My great uncle died on the 14th of june 1917.He was unmarried and his father and mother were both dead at the end of the First World War and there was no close family left to mourn him.
I have recently obtained his war record and would like to say how immensely proud I am of him and really wish I had known him.
May he rest in peace as he has no known grave.
