Jack's Story

Jack Durrans was my Great Uncle and the reason my Father joined the R.A.F. in 1938.

Jack joined up on 31st May 1918 and was enlisted in the West Yorkshire Regiment. He saw active service and was demobbed on 31st March 1920. On 8th March 1926 he joined the R.A.F. his number became 346035. I never knew him but he will not be forgotten.
