Benjamin's Story

Volunteered in 1914. Wounded,I believe on first day of the Somme offensive. Demobilised 1919

One of his songs:

We are the ragtime army

Fred Carno's happy band

We cannot shoot, we cannot fight

Although we look so grand

But when we get to Berlin

The Kaiser he will say

Mein Gott, mein Gott

What a bloody fine lot

Are the 114 Brigade.

Are the 114 Brigade.
