Francis's Story

Francis, always known by his family as Frank, served in the Royal Field Artillery. He was sent to France, where he met up with his brother Patrick on the Somme, just prior to "The Big Push". He survived the war.

Another brother Felix, also enlisted and chose the Durham Light Infantry. He also survived the war.
