Frederick's Story

In Memory of my distant cousin Pvt/Cpl Frederick Greaves V.C. Soldier of the 9th Battalion Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment, he saw action at Gallipoli, the Somme and Passchendaele. He won the VICTORIA CROSS on the 4th October 1917.

Coalminer and Deputy at Markham colliery.

Member of the St John's Ambulance and the Royal British Legion.
