Donald's Story
Born at Catford, London on 4.2.1896, educated at Christ's Hospital, commissioned in Artists' Rifles and joined Queen's Own West Kents, killed on the Somme at High Wood on 22/23 July 1916.
Donald and his younger brother Alan were born in South London 15 months apart and both died on the Somme in 1916, just two miles and two months apart.
