Henry George's Story

Tried to enlist when he was under age.

But joined up as soon as he was able.

He was wounded in action 2nd Australian Hospital Boulogne, 29th June 1918. Gun shot wound to abdomen.

War office No. 201678 L/Cpl

A wonderful character and Uncle to me his only niece.

He made a number of cross stictch items, which I still have and use. They are very treasured and will be passed on to my children and grand children.
