Mark's Story

No.267707 Private Mark Standing.

Along with his brother's, Fred Standing & Mark Standing, Mark joined the 1st/6th battalion Duke of Wellington West Riding Regiment in 1915 & served in the front line with the Regiment in France and Belgium.

He was demobilised in 1919 & was awarded the British War Medal and Victory Medal.

All three brothers survived the War.
