William's Story

In Memory of Captain William Liddle, 9th Bn., Royal Scots, attd. 11th Div. Signal Coy., Royal Engineers, who died age 31

on 27 September 1918. Only son of Thomas and Margaret Liddle, of 5, Hill St., Edinburgh. Writer to His Majesty's Signet. Buried In Aubigny Communal Cemetery Extension. Awarded the 1914-15 Star, British War Medal & Victory Medal.
