Ernest's Story

Ernest volunteered in 1915 and was drafted to the Western Front, where he served at Nerve Chapele, Loos, Arass, Vimmy Ridge, Cambrai, St Quentin and the Somme. He was with the army of occupation until his demobilization in 1919.
