Harry's Story

My husband's Grandfather. Harry Ainsworth enlisted in April 1915. He served in the 18th Batallion Durham Light Infantry. He was killed at Outtersteene on 12th April 1918. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the memorial at Ploegsteert, Belgium. He left a widow, Eleanor, and 4 children.
