Alfred Norman's Story
Known as Norman or "Pont" he was in the 3rd Durham Light Infantry Regiment but also represented the regimnet at footabll. We have agold medal inscribed Tyne Garrison Football League 1919. Following an injury, he was transferred to the Army Reserve on 17th Feb 1919. His regiment number was 104854. We would love to know more if anyone could help.
