Albert Arthur Ferdinand's Story
He died of wounds in the No13 General Hospital Boulogne in 1916.
I do not have any personnel memories of Albert Arthur Ferdinand Larsson, my great uncle, as I am too young to have known him, except he was the son of a Swedish merchant seaman and his mother was Scottish. Albert married my motherÂs aunty in 1902 and enlisted in the Durham Light Infantry at Sunderland in 1914. He died of wounds in the No13 General Hospital Boulogne in 1916. He is buried in the Commonwealth War Grave in Boulogne's Eastern Cemetery.
