Gomer's Story

In memory of my grandfather, whom I never met. He volunteered at the young age of 17 and was wounded in the leg in 1918 leading to discharge. Served with TR and 1st and 2nd Bn SWB.

Brother of Pte 2270 T L Evans Welsh Guards who won the Croix De Guerre at Pilkem Ridge and Harold Evans, originally from Treherbert. God bless
