Frank's Story
Frank Harris Butcher 14792 Northamptonshire reg 7th battalion A company. Enlisted 7 Sept 1914 shipped to France 1 Sept 1915, killed by trench mortar 15 Oct 1915 at St Eloi buried at Voormezeele enc 3 p8 rbg2.
The letter advising his mother of his death had been written by the chaplain in advance of soldiers deaths with a space left for the name, his arrived without the name being added.
