Harry's Story

My grandfather died from cancer which spread from the area of wounds received during the war, he was wounded three times and narrowly escaped being burried alive the last time when it was at first thought he was dead, he was layed to one side and as he was still alive when the burial detail had finished he was taken to an aid station, he was still in hospital when the war ended, we are not sure which regiment of the Dorsets he was with but we know he serve in france on several areas and engagements.
