Ernest's Story

Private Ernest Codling joined the Lincolnshire Regiment serving with the 6th Bn. He was the son of Mr and Mrs J Codling, who, by 1915 had moved to Bourne in Lincolnshire. He was killed in action on June 8 1917 near Ypres and is buried at Messines Ridge British Cemetery.
