Michael's Story
Michael was my late mother's uncle. I am not sure of his date of birth but he joined the Bristish army in Scariff, Co Clare, Ireland. I think in 1918. Another uncle of my late mother, Michael Thornton, also from Scariff, died in the war. I would love to visit his grave as no family member will ever have done so.
