Richard's Story
Lance Corporal Richard Hooton was the son of William Hooton and Mary Hooton of Standish Nr Wigan Lancashire. Richard was in the York and Lancaster Regiment 9th Battalion. Sadly Richard was Killed in Action in Belgium on the 23th September 1917 aged 38
