Michael's Story
No greater sacrifice than to give your life so that others may live. Never forgotten.
In memory of my great uncle, Michael Crean from Rawtenstall, who along with his brother Anthony, went to war for his country but sadly never returned to his loving family. For their parents Hugh and Bridget to lose two sons in the war within two months of each other must have been devastating, but as many other hundreds of families around them, they carried on with great courage to raise and love the rest of their family. I am sure their lives would never have been the same after that but all we can do is be thankful for the time they shared together and hope they rest in peace forever. With love and thanks to them and their families for the great sacrifice they all made. From their loving family members.
