Patrick's Story

He never spoke of Ireland or mentioned family. I know nothing about his time in Ireland and I am not sure which regiment he was in. He was wounded and gassed and left Ireland after the war to come to the UK. I was born in 1930 and he was a coal miner at Bettsanger Colliery in Kent. Where were those lost years between 1918-1930? I have very little hope of finding out anymore.
