Albert Edward's Story
To the man I didn't know in life but grew to love in death.
I was only a child when my granddad died in 1963, but I have come to know him over the years as a hard working caring man who suffered the effects of war for many years after he left the battlefields in France. I learn new things every day about him and only wish I could have spent sometime talking with him about his early life, being an ex military man of 24 years service I can't even begin to imagine what sites and horrors these brave men experienced. To them we owe so much.
