Holford Charles Fourdrinier's Story

Eldest son of Samuel and Ethel Marian Plant, born in Tillington,Staffs.and formerly a gunner in the Essex Battalion of the Royal Horse Artillery. Died in battle 3rd May 1917 while temporily attached to the 9th Battalion of the Leicestershire Regiment. Remembered at Arras. Leaving a grieving teenage girl friend who was my wife's great Aunt.
