Alfred Thomas's Story
56th London Div RFA. Wounded 1917 Awarded MM and promoted in the field, Photo shows Alfred on Hector. The family have Many items such as spurs, binnoculars, letters hospital reports but sadly no details of what his actions were to be awarded the MM. As with many of these heroes he never spoke of it, he was a perfect gentleman throughout his life and was loved by all.
