William James's Story

Our grandad served in the great war in the royal garrison artillery and was wounded by shrapnel hit in the shoulder area and lucikly was saved by the army gospel bible in his army pocket. He was awarded like others from Bridport a certification of thanks from the people of Bridport in Dorset England.
