Thomas's Story
He was my grandfather and died 15 years before I was born.
He was born in 1880, the youngest of 5 brothers in a farming family.
His wife was named Sally Ann and they had 8 children (7 sons and a daughter). The eldest of these 8 children was only 14 years of age when my grandfather died in France.
He need not to have gone to war for he was in a reserved category.
This all I know of him and I would like to know more.
