Martin Francis's Story

Martin ran away and joined the army in 1916 when he was just sixteen. His parents bought him out but he ran away and joined up again. He served in the South Irish Horse and the Dorset Yeomanry. He died in Egypt on 17/11/1918, apparently of Fever. He is buried in Hadra Cemetery in Alexandria, Egypt
