Died of wounds near Arras. Buried at Noeux-les-Mines. Remembered at Eltham War Memorial.

"Much sympathy is extended to Mrs Reddall and her young family in the death from wounds in action of her Husband, Private Stanley Reddall, which occurred in a casualty clearing station on May 22nd. Private Reddall who was 32 years of age, was originally a member of the local Eltham Defence Company (now the Kent Volunteer Regiment), and joined up under the Derby scheme. He was first attached to the Worcestershire Yeomanry, and subsequently transferred to the Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby). He had been in France since December 13th 1916. As a result of intense bombardment whilst in the trenches, he sufferred from shell shock and influenza, and was in hospital several weeks. On his recovery,he went into the firing line again, and was wounded in the abdomen on the following Friday, May 19th, and died as stated, on the 22nd. Mrs Reddall received a sympathetic letter from the Chaplain informing her of her husband's dangerous condition, and of the fear that the wounds would prove fatal."
