George Rabone's Story
George was captured on 31 March 1918 and on 1 April 1918 he died of wounds to both legs.
George Rabone Golder, 71055 2nd Bn Durham Light Infantry, was the son of Sarah Ann Golder. He enlisted on 5 October 1916, aged 18 years and three months. George was captured on 31 March 1918 and on 1 April 1918 he died of wounds to both legs while in Denain Monastery. He was buried at Denain Communal Cemetery.
