James's Story

I now feel I knew you even though you died from your wounds years before I was born.

To my granddad, Private 52232 James Hodgkins. After reading your war pension records I now feel I knew you even though you died from your wounds years before I was born. I respect and honour your memory for giving your today for my tomorrow. RIP Grandad xxx.
