Herbert Golder's Story

Lance Corporal, missing, presumed killed in action 4th May 1917 in the attack on Fontain les Croiselles, France, despite wounds went back for "his" officer, Lt Charles Gordon Boyd (Sherwood Foresters), also missing after the battle, remains later intered in local Military Cemetary.
