Frederick's Story

He was a very handsome chap, who looked ever so proud in his uniform.

Frederick Joseph Kenn was my great-grandad who was active in World War I. I only remember him as a small child, but we have an amazing picture of him in his uniform with my great-grandma and my grandma when she was a small child. He was a very handsome chap, who looked ever so proud in his uniform. Sadly, I do not know where he served and which regiment he was in, but I'm still trying to find this out as I would be interested to know, as his son - my great-uncle - went on to take part in World War II in the RAF, and my brother today serves in the British Army. I am extremely proud of my family.
