Ernest's Story

He was one of the men who were lost without trace.

I have no memories of my grandfather who died at the age of 23 at Ypres. He was one of the men who were lost without trace. My father would have been nearly three when he died. His close family have all passed away, therefore, I thought it would be thoughtful to put his name on the remembrance wall. Having given up his life so early perhaps someone may have some information about him.
