William Edward's Story

In common with many other soldiers, he would never discuss what happened.

William Edward originally came from Cockermouth, but moved to Leeds, later joining the army. As far as I am aware he fought at Ypres and the Somme but, in common with many other soldiers, he would never discuss what happened.
