Charles Joseph's Story
My Grandad rejoined left the navy in 1908 but rejoined for the duration of the hostilities in 1914 until he was invalided out in 1917. I was told that he fought in the battle of Jutland and was injured there but have recently found out that he was involved in the Dardenelles he left the service as a Petty Officer 1st class.
