Henry's Story

Henry was my husbands granfather, he remembers him as very tall and quite. He never spoke of the war. He always suffered with his chest and breathing problems. All of his 7 son's joined the forces in the second world war. and in 1942 he lost his eldest son, also called Henry. He never really got over the loss. He had a large family who all loved him very much.

Henry Munro 13th Brigade, Royal Field Artiliery.
