Albert Charles's Story
3/6620 Pte Albert Charles Smith 1st Beds was my Father's oldest brother, in fact he was only 3 when his brother was killed and never really knew him. Albert died at Arras on 14th May 1917. His only Daughter had no memory of him at all. His body was never identified and he is among the thousands who have no known grave.
